Everyday Clothing Resource
Did you know that you can save money while outfitting your child by buying clothes that are on sale? Some of the most popular sales are off season or end-of-season sales that are available through retail stores, department stores and even online. Smart moms take advantage of these sales, using the sale prices which can be upwards of eighty percent off of the original retail price, to stock up for the next season in sizes that are going to be appropriate for the child.
Recently, I have found a couple of great clearance sales that have allowed me to stock up on summer clothes for my daughter. At the local department store there have been additional 50% off of the already reduced clearance prices and therefore each time that I have gone to the store I have been able to buy four to five items for less than ten dollars! There are sales like this through the months of August-October for the summer clearance and through the months of April and May to rid the stores of the winter stock. Shopping at department stores however, as opposed to traditional retail stores enables me to find all of the latest brand names, and designer apparel at the lowest price.
So, stocking up on essentials for baby, including shorts and other basic items, through the designer lines – will still keep your child in style, even though they are wearing last season’s items. The clothing that has been designed for babies is often in style for more than one season, especially if the basics are available from leading designers.
