Browsing for items to buy online has become one of the most frequented activities for most internet users. Shopping online is fun as well; however some sites do not offer the option to purchase online and so one is in need of a store locater. A store locater is a selection on a store’s website that allows the user to find the nearest location where that item is available for purchase. Using the Gap store locater completely depends on the country.
For the United States, when one selects the option for store locater, it will ask for the mailing address including the address, city, state and zip code. Above that one will see check boxes for which stores they are looking for. One can select All Stores, which will combine all the stores and show all of the ones within range of the zip code. One can also just choose GapKids, babyGap, Gapbody, GapMaternity, and Gap Outlet.
For Canada, the first step in the store locater is to select the province. Once the desired province is selected, it will then list all the stores in that province. One of the downsides of this is that there is no option to choose which city one lives in. The search is really broad this way. Using store locaters is a pretty easy thing to figure out, but if one finds it a little more confusing than it seems, ask a friend to help out. Someone will be able to figure it out.
